The bats were busy at Griggs Park on Saturday, and when the dust cleared the White Sands Pupfish (18-12) had a 15-12 win over the Trinidad Triggers (20-9).
The teams totaled 35 hits in the game.
Shamil Ubiera racked up two RBIs on four hits for the White Sands Pupfish. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the third, fifth, and sixth innings.
Even though David Steele Jr. allowed six runs over four innings he still recorded the victory, his fourth of the season. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered seven hits.
Christian Schneider ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked one and struck out two.
