The Roswell Invaders (17-13) beat the Trinidad Triggers 7-5 Thursday behind both the bat and the arm of Ryan Davis.

Davis had a hot bat for the Roswell Invaders. Davis went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the fifth innings.

The Roswell Invaders got the win thanks in large part to Davis dominant, seven-strikeout performance. Davis allowed one earned run on four hits and five walks over eight innings.

Matt Horan ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out five.
