Friday was a great day for Brandon Cooksey, as he clubbed two home runs to carry the Garden City Wind (8-16) to a 15-10 victory over the Trinidad Triggers (16-6) at Central Park.

The two teams combined for 25 runs and 28 hits, including zero extra base hits. Managers of the two teams seemingly emptied their bullpens in search of the win, as there were seven pitchers used in the game.

Caleb Bryson got on base five times in the game for the Trinidad Triggers. He scored two runs and had two RBIs. He homered in the eighth inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Brandon Hudson got his second win for the Garden City Wind despite allowing five runs over 3 1/3 innings. Hudson struck out three, walked five and gave up seven hits.

Josh Ganus (2-2) was the games losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in two innings, walked four and struck out three.

The Garden City Winds Rodney Polonia, Cody Ellis, Ariel Adut and Cooksey combined for nine hits and 11 RBIs.
