9/24/2014-Josh Tols is headed to the Kansas City T-Bones of the American Association. Tols joins Chris Escobar, Kevin McGovern, Johnny Bladel, and Blake May in taking the three-step leap from the 2014 Triggers of the Pecos League to the American Association. Tols and May were sent to Kansas City, Escobar to Sioux City, McGovern to Lincoln, and Bladel to Amarillo. During and immediately after the season, the Triggers also sent two players to the United Baseball League and one to the Philadelphia Phillies' organization. Tols was acquired by the Triggers from the Las Vegas Train Robbers during the season. His combined statistics for Las Vegas and Trinidad are phenomenal. During the regular season and playoffs, Tols posted a perfect 6-0 won-loss record. In 66.1 innings pitched, he had an ERA of 3.26, with 71 Strikeouts and 26 walks.
