The Trinidad Triggers (28-22) and the Taos Blizzard (18-32) each put runners in scoring position on Tuesday, but the Trinidad Triggers capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out an 11-6 win at Taos Tundra.
K.C. Judge paced the Trinidad Triggers at the plate. Judge went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He tripled in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh and eighth innings.
Daniel Sharp brought the heat against the Taos Blizzard during his outing. Sharp gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his two innings of work.
Dominic SanFelippo racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Taos Blizzard. He tripled in the eighth inning.
Josh Tols improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Trinidad Triggers. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered eight hits.
