A superb effort by Johnny Bladel carried the Trinidad Triggers (14-13) to an 18-12 win over the Raton Osos (11-17) on Saturday at Central Park.
The Raton Osos couldnt slow down Bladel, who paced the Trinidad Triggers with six hits. He homered in the first inning, tripled in the sixth inning, and singled in the first, second, fourth, and seventh innings.
Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 30 runs and 31 hits, including zero extra base hits. Relief pitchers got their fill of innings during the game, with the opposing managers using eight pitchers in total.
